The Tata Ace Pro EV is powered by a 29 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that delivers 104 Nm of instant torque, ensuring smooth and efficient performance with a top speed of 50 kmph and 21% gradeability for city and semi-urban operations. It features a single-speed E-Transaxle transmission with mechanical rack-and-pinion steering for easy maneuverability. Braking duties are handled by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, while ride comfort and load stability come from an independent McPherson strut front suspension and a semi-trailing arm rear suspension with coil springs and hydraulic dampers. The vehicle runs on 145R12 tyres and has compact yet practical dimensions of 3560 mm length, 1497 mm width, and 1820 mm unladen height, supported by an 1800 mm wheelbase, 170 mm ground clearance (laden), and a tight 3.75 m turning circle. With a GVW of 1610 kg and a strong 750 kg payload capacity, it is well-suited for last-mile delivery. Energy comes from a 14.4 kWh LFP lithium-ion battery, offering a certified range of 155 km and 100–120 km in real-world usage, with slow charging from 5% to 100% in under 6 hours. The cabin offers D+1 seating, backed by a vehicle warranty of 3 years or 1,25,000 km and an impressive battery warranty of 8 years or 1,75,000 km, making the Tata Ace Pro EV a reliable and cost-effective electric mini-truck for modern businesses.
